Default tsp ms3 or tsp 233/239??

so i have the chance to pick up a ms3 for $250 bucks and the guys local to me.

or

here are each cams specs

MS3
237/242 .603"/.609" on a 113 lsa

and

233/239 .595"/.603" on a 114 lsa

my set up will be a stock bottom end LQ9 with arp rod bolts, ported 241's, dual valve springs, 3600-3800 stall, long tubes, ported tb, lid and a 150 shot of laughing gas
i know a custom grind is where its at but they are very pricey and having to rebuild this motor is costing me more then i thought lol

Since your going with a good size cam, i would just opt for the MS3.

Don't know much about the 233/239 but the MS3 has been proven many times in many cars...

Since you are elevating your compression with the smaller chamber 241s
AND you have a 364 and not a 346 definitely go MS3. The wider lobe sep.
also works well with squirt and its $250...local....win:win

My buddy just threw together a stock bottomend 6.0 with '98 ported heads and a MS4 in a M6 car and put down 435 rwhp - car runs/drives great and he actually made money on the engine. not a whole lot of help but I'm very impressed with his spare parts build. curious what it'd be with some decent heads..

Bypass both & go with the Tsunami cam. I love mine. It drives like a stocker & there is very little cam surge at low rpm cruising. Good luck with the decision.
