Default Single bolt vs 3 bolt cam setup?

So recently I ordered a cam assuming it would come with the single bolt connection. Wrong, it has the typical 3 bolt setup, which won't work on my engine without switching to the 3 bolt cam gear. I can send it back on my dime & they will send me one with the single bolt connection. Will still be cheaper than buying the 3 bolt cam gear & bolts. So my question is, is there any benefit to keeping the 3 bolt cam? Someone said the single bolt one is a pain to line up when installing the chain.

Default

I don't see a benefit or disadvantage with either. 3 bolt may have a better resale value later on though.
