Default Intake manifold gasket

I'm doing an LS6 valley swap soon, and was wondering, is the Intake manifold gasket re-useable once the intake is taken off or not? I was planning on getting a new one just for peace of mind, but just curious. Thanks guys

If they're very old they will be flattened out flush with the intake surface, should be replaced. You can get them at most parts places.

You will probably also find they have fine sand in them too so cleaning them for the swap requires care. I would go new and make sure all is clean.
