type of head gasket do i need so im slowly getting the parts together for the ls6 head swap, the ls6 heads were shaved 25 thousands and now someone told me i need a certain thickness gaskets, any idea what they are talking about? i was just gonna pick up some stock zo6 head gaskets

thats what i thought, we were trying to bump the compression to 11:1, someone said shaving the heads will do it and now im hearing shaving it and certain gasket would do it so now im confused about it
Im running a set of unported 799 heads, milled 25 thou with the stock MLS headgasket that John is talking about. Also got a new EPS cam to go with em. Just measure for your pushrods, to makes sure you get the right length, and enjoy the boost in compression!
