NGK TR55s will work just fine, and are cheap. I run TR6s in both our cars, but their both 11:1 or higher compression with heads.

I run and swear by autolite AR103 plugs under $2 and work great...ran them on my stock engine, and now still run them in my 12.56:1 compression 408

The NGK Tr55s should do the trick for your current setup.
