Time for a small stroker
Well, it is time for a change so I think I will do a LS2 402. This is for a street setup so nothing extremely wild but potent nonetheless.
Forged LS2 bottom, 4.00 crank,
6.125 rods,
Wiseco 2cc relief pistons, with nitrous rings.
Heads 317s that I let AI work their stuff on.
Cam my specs, medium lope, ~10* overlap.
I'm shooting for 450rwhp and some megatorque. This will be for my 2006 C6, A4.

awhile back someone with a vette did a similar 402 build with AFR heads. Cam was supposedly 237ish on intake duration.
I think he got it into 10's on nittos. He even posted incar videos at the strip.

Not a big cam, they will be milled a bit and I already have them. This is my DD, 68cc and 11.3 SCR. Plenty for 94 octane.
Cam will probably be a 226/232 112+2 LSA, powerband 1800>6300rpm, I have a SS3200 stall so it should act nicely witha nice Borla rumble.

How awesome is the day when you can drop a 4inch arm into a small-block ??
The LS architecture is really neat. As for the rear end...I believe the C6 case
has more casting beef(ribs, bracing) and with an external perimeter brace they
last remarkably well in an auto application. Street tires will also offer that
intellectual insurance against costly repairs. AHHH the art of eggshell gaspedal
