Default oil in intake

I took the TB off today and the inside of the intake has oil on it Whats causing this?.....It's a 99' with 150k on it......I'm assuming it's getting there through the PCV valve

Crappy PCV system. I would suggest taking the intake off, removing the MAP sensor, hosing it out with brake parts cleaner or similar and doing an LS6 valley cover, along with the PCV line delete and possibly a good catch can. That's about as good as it gets with these engines.

Sounds like a normal amount of blowby for a 150k motor. It can live a perfectly normal life like this and run to 200k or more, its just not fresh anymore.
