500 WHP LS build
Well, making 500rwhp with a stick is much easier than an auto.
460 to the wheels with an auto is pretty much 500 with a stick(ish)
Either will get you into the 10's at full weight with some suspension and tires at a reasonable DA.
Ls1 block stroked to a 383 or a 6.0 liter will do it with a set of AI ported LS6 heads, FAST intake and a moderate cam(230/240@.050).
Cool thing about the stroker LS1 is it will "look" like a head cam engine.
The more inches you have the less the cam will hop.

Cool thing about the stroker LS1 is it will "look" like a head cam engine.If you want to look like a head/cam engine and make killer power, look at wet sleeves - not cheap but a solid way to get way more displacement.

You can make a 383 with stock sleeves, many have made 500rwhp with a 383.
