Default Another Sewing Machine noise thread

I just had a Texas Speed 224/224 581 114 cam and TEA stage 1 heads installed last wwek, and wow do I have a lot of valve train noise now. We installed 7.40 hardened comp push rods. The heads were milled about .10 just to clean e'm up. Do I need to go with longer or shorter push rods?

Don't guess, always measure with pushrods. ESPECIALLY on milled heads.

^^ Shoot for 1 1/4 turns. I've been told that 1 3/4 is acceptable but I was within those specs with 7.4's and ordered my PR checker anyway because I didn't want to do it twice. I ended up needing 7.35's and now my valve train is quieter than stock. It's a $20 tool that will save you a **** load of time and headaches.
