Default Basic gen 3 info

Can someone point me in the right direction? I just got into lsx motors. I don't know what factory heads are better than one another. Same with cams.
Is there a good book I can get with this type of info? How to build lsx motors or something like that with cam specs, head castings, ect. Thanks guys

It might not cover everything you are asking, but a good start is Joseph Potak's "How to Build and Modify GM LS-Series Engines" from Motorbooks Workshop.

Check out the stickies at the top of this subform, they're highlighted in yellow. There is also a newbie section with a lot of general info. You may need to start there.
