Default Which pushrod length for this setup?

Ok, using the Z06 cam in an LS1 motor, with heads shaved .020"? Listening to SDPC you need longer than 7.4 for the smaller base circle of .050", so the hlaf radius would be .025". Now the heads being .020" closer would mean the difference your looking at is only .005" which tells me there is no need to change pushrod length from stock. Is this right?

Thanks,

Charlie.

With shaved heads you are fine. Plus, I think the stock pushrod is more like 7.380". So moving to a 7.40" pushrod is actually giving you a little extra length.
