Bore to piston clearance??? Help

Just wondering what the piston to bore clearance is suppose to be on a 3.898 bore. Its a 5.3l thats been bored to 3.898.

Depends on piston cast or forged. The clearance is usually built into the piston. Cast is from .0010-.0020 in general and forged are from .0030-.0070 but again it depends on piston and alloy and usage.
