Swapping heads with ARP head studs
Swapping heads with ARP head studs Im going to be swapping to a new set of heads and I already have ARP head studs in my motor. The first time installing them I followed blackcamaros how to and he says to pre stretch the studs by making three passes at 65 ft lbs. Do i have to do that again or do i just do the torque sequence when installing the new heads? Also do I have to worry about coolant seeping down the bolt holes or will the studs prevent it? Thanks in advance.
