Heard a Ticking Noise on startup?? it just started..... my dad said its prolly a lifter....... he wanted me to ask this board if LS1s have self adjusting lifters and if not what does it cost to get it fixed....if thats even the problem.

Check to make sure your plug wires are on good this will cause a ticking sound. Also listen under the car and with the hood up and try to locate it,it may be an tensioner pully.
