350 vortec lifters in a ls1?

350 vortec lifters in a ls1? Doing head/cam swap and the lifters are a little rough (sold to me as GMPP replacement ls1 lifters)
I have a set of brand new roller lifters from a vortec sbc and they look identical except the dip where the pushrods sit is further into the lifter. I can't remember if my stock lifters were the same way or if they were like the replacements I've been running.
I would just order lifters but time is of the essence and if these will work they are already here.
Google search has some people saying they are all interchangable, some say it affects pushrod length, and some say they won't work with no explanation.

Compnine (RIP) showed the ls7 lifter part number as the superseding part number for most roller lifter applications dating back to the 80s, so it's quite likely that it includes sbc stuff. However, you should measure pushrod length and buy the right size, but you should be doing that anyway. The ls7 lifters are a different height than stock ls1 lifters that they replaced, and are likely different than many of the other part numbers that they replaced too.
