Default Dual Valve springs?

Im gettin ready for a 230/224-111 cam from Thunder Racing. It comes with comp springs and hardened rods. I just wanna know how much better dual springs are and are they worth the money?? What will make them better then normal springs?? Help me out

Thanx Steve

well use basic logic. if your using a single spring and it breaks for whatever reason then whats going to hold the valve up from going against the piston? a dual spring setup has two spring so that if the outter spring breaks the smaller inner spring will still hold the vavle up and will allow you to limp home until you can change the spring out.

i ran the Rev dual kit with my tr230 for my first set of springs and the 2nd set i went with the manly kit. the 230 isnt an overly aggressive cam with hard lobes so a single spring will work just fine
