New headers eating through new spark plug wire

New headers eating through new spark plug wire Two days ago I had my Pacesetter LT headers installed along with some RPM Speed 10.2mm spark plug wires. Today while looking under the hood I noticed one of my wires is hugging part of the header and has melted all over it. I took the plug off and its melted through the casing to nearly expose the wires. How do I stop this wire from touching the header? The other 7 wires are fine its only this one that doesn't want to do anything other then lay on the header. If the boot wasn't to long I think the wire would be fine. Would a diff brand of wires be better or was it just placed on wrong?
Also wouldn't the shop that installed this be responsible for replacing the wire?

there are heat protectant "socks" that are readily available at most auto part stores. i used them on my wires when i put my pacesetters on just cuz they looked close. i've since taken off the pacesetters and just left them on just for the added insurance. never had a wire melt.
as for the shop being accountable, you asked them to put the long tubes on and they did. not sure if you can hold them responsible for the wire melting, but it never hurts to ask.
