Head Gasket?
Head Gasket? Why are the 97-01 and 02-04 head gaskets different? I just noticed they had a different part number. Does anyone know the difference and what problems you will run into if you get the wrong one?

slick98ta is correct. Usually you cannot use the multi-layer gaskets on a car that was originally equiped with the graphite gaskets.
A sure fire way of knowing is: if your head sealing surface has a machined half moon cutout in the center along the one edge - the multilayer gaskets will leak like a seive.
