Default Opinions on a cam

Looking through the comp catalog lobe section I thought the following cam would work well in my LS6 headed 346 with stock Corvette iron exhaust manifolds. This is not a OTS grind.
Intake comp ls1 lobe number 3712, 218 @.050" .563 lift extreme RPM lobe.
Exhaust comp ls1 lobe number 3720 220 @.050" .581 lift XE-R lobe.
ground on a 114' LSA +2' ICL.

Thought is open and close the exhaust valve quickly to avoid dilution of the intake charge, but long enough to make up for the lack of flow in the manifolds.

Goal for the car is strong mid range that does not fall on its face at 5500 rpm.

Thoughts?

He said stock exhaust manifolds,

I dont think thats a bad choice , but are you gonna be running the stock tune or are you getting it tuned.

I think there are better cams out there that will work with stock manifolds.

i'm looking to do something similiar. small, split duration on tight (110 or maybe even less) lobe centers with stock manifolds. i've seen lots of small cams, but none with tight lobe centers.
