I swayed both ways on using a stock bolt, which sounds like it has worked for many, but in the end bought the ARP unit. 38.00 from SDPC. Chased one side 30 minutes ago and now the bolts go in with just my fingers. If I had used the stock bolt trick and jacked up the block, which this is usually my luck, I would have blamed it on not using the right tool.
