I had a LS1 in my camaro and blew it up. I got a 6.0 liter from a 2006 GTO and was wondern what i need to do to put it in my car. I see the LS6 heads i have will fit this motor but wondern about my cam. My cam is a magic stick 3 603/609. And i also se it doesnt have knock sensors like my LS1 did. Do i not use that harrness anymore? Please help me!!!

you have to have extension harnesses for the knock sensors they mount on the side of ls2 and cam sensor mounts in the timing cover of an ls2 i think they are around 60$ for them the car has the ls2 has the same heads as a ls6 except they have solid valves and yes you ms3 will fit rite in

I've been looking into doing this swap and i think you need somthing to read the crank sensor as well. It either has more teeth or less teeth not sure on the 6.0

Sounds like it's a possible 58x ls2. Which needs a few parts and electronics to run in a 98-02 fbody

not if its a gto it has the same wheel as a ls1 any ls2 06 up except a gto has the 58 wheel
