Default AI 241s vs PRC 5.3

I'm in the market for heads for my car. I'm running an EPS 226/234 113 lsa +3 cam. I have found that just about everyone that runs PRC 5.3s make good results. But im having trouble finding many results with AI 241s. Before i go out and spend money i figured itd be best to ask if anybody has used the 241s and which would be the best to go with.

I would go with whatever is cheaper. They will probably be pretty close in HP honestly.

imo just get a used set of 243s and send them to AI you'll make more power with the 243s over the 241s and the 5.3 heads and there right about the same price wise as far as getting them ported

I agree with this...if he already has the 241s that would make it about $400 cheaper though...

I only paid $325 for my brand new 243's, you just have to wait for a good deal.

I am sending my 241s to AI next week for their new HCR219 port. There is not much info on them yet but I spoke with AI and he said 450-480 rwhp can be expected with full bolt ons and a matched cam. He said the 5.3 and the HCR219 241s make same power bc they can now make 11-1 cr with 241s with stock p2v.

yes the 243 makes 15hp more but if your on a budget like I am send your 241s to AI and save yourself $400.

If you want to wait to see my results my car will be tuned and dyno'd early spring.

Here's some results I found in search, I wouldn't expect the PRC 5.3s/243s to make much higher than 5rwhp more if any more power.
