Default Build my ws6

Hi,I have a stock ws6,m6 (lid slp)not even catback,It's an 02, so ls6 intake.I drive it maybe 2000 miles a year,100 miles round trip to test n tune.I do 7-10 test n tunes a year.I'm sick of running 13's,My best is 13.26.
I don't want to spray the car, I don't want to loose a/c or make a drag car.
My wife has a 2003 cobra that runs,12's(best 12.32) with pulley and cold air.
I just need to step it up, and make my car run like it looks.
Looking at Texas speed headers and catted Y
Magnaflow catback,I have 241 heads, but if I take them off? Should I go with port and polish 243's with cam Texas speed?
I'm also thinking 3.90 gears so I don't run out of rpm?
11.51 et is my goal,I don't want a cage.
Thanks.--Pat.

Unless you have strict emissions I would go longtubes and catless. The magnaflow will be pretty quiet or if you want loud and a little better performance in the long run go true duals. You can go 410. My car with stock height tires will run about 128 in 4th at 6800. Some people have the 241s ported and get good results or you could go to a PRC LS6 head. I'm running the PRC 215s and I'm happy with them but they're a little more expensive. Just keep in mind that 10 bolt is made of glass and it doesn't go well with sticky tires. Especially not behind a manual. I would call TSP and let them recommend a set up for your goals.

A lot depends on whether or not you are doing the work because of labor costs. cam around 226, Prc 5.3 stage 2.5 ported heads, headers, Y and cat-back. Hook it up without breaking and you're in the mid 11's. A good custom ground cam or Torquer V2 would guarantee it. You will need a good tuner either way.

Yea,I plan on doing all the work,I just can't do the tune.I'm going to start buying parts after the holidays. It is so tempting to just get a procharger, because it would still drive like stock,But there so much money.
