Default Clearance Issue with 395cid Stroker?

Are there any clearance issues using Lunati's 395cid Stroker kit with the 4.125" crank? Besides boring out the block, are there any other machining required?

With the 4.125 crank, you might run into having to clearence the block where the rod/bolts come around. I know you don't have to with a 4.0" crank. FWIW, the 395 is going to have bad side load problems, and place the piston wrist pin high in the oil landings. I guess custom pistons could remedy some of this, but there is no cure for side load except a bigger bore.

mine needed to be done, not alot but the bottom of the cylinders where the rods will pass needed a little work.

i just had mine done and have no worries about side loading, my engine builder and lunati feel confident this package will be very reliable and last a long time.
