TRex sound clip finally here!!

Back to the subject. You can get the Trex from thunder racing like mentioned above

Duane, I have notched Ross pistons
Milled heads isn't suggested with the TRex, PTV is already on the hairy edge with unmilled heads. Are both your sets LS6?Thanks again for all the props guys...

You starting a collection, lol.If you notch your pistons, any of those heads should work. Sell the other two sets and get those Z06 one's ported
. Or just use the trex and the Z06 unported heads without notching..With any luck, I'll be at the track soon...

Right on. A Tune is like the performance settings (i.e., tune) for Windows 2000, not the actual Operating System software itself (ls1edit). Most can get it close to being fine, but the pros can do it best. There will always be people comfortable paying through their blowhole for custom tunes, so no one's going to starve. Yet there will always be the few among us who will test and tweak by hand until the job is done.
I vote for a central archive, like ls1sounds.com, for any and all ls1edit tune files (assuming that the file is transferrable even to locked PCM edit modules...). List your mods, send me your file, and I'll even create a page for everyone. There are no laws on tunes, nor do I think there should be, and I doubt there ever will be, so we are doing nothing illegal. This way when someone gets a cam, they can at least go to this site to get a decent baseline, and the more we share the more people will be willing to donate their files. Realize that it's impossible to perfect a tune for all cars, but I guarantee some of the more complex settings (i.e., like for a Tr230 with true duals, ported heads and intake) will help quite a few people out.
Over at fireblades.org we have been sharing tunes for years, lol. That's crazy crazy that if 10 people have a TR224 with long tubes, that $5500 needs to be shelled out in total for basically some computer settings when it's all over.
A good tune will fix that... I try to stay around 2000 to get better has mileage but I can cruise my stock 3.42's in 6th gear @ 1600 rpm on the highway.
I can't believe a cam that large and that tight of a lobe seperation idles so well. Am I the only one truley amazed by that?
Very nice.

Sorry about the size, it's about 7Mb. I'll shrink it when I can get home next week.
