Well I tore into the "new to me" LQ4 that will be going to the machine shop in March (I hope) I need to wait due to $$$$ 
Anywho...The LQ4 was pulled from an '04 Silverado due to no oil pressure. Well I found the culprit
spun cam bearing 
Cross hatching still looks good in cylinders.
Pulled #2 and #7 rod caps...both looks GREAT.
Pulled #2 main cap....beautiful.
Pulled cam...wow, tough

No way for me to tell... but I would THINK ????? they make a oversize/repair bearing.
BTW...it's an iron block if that makes any difference.
I'll call the shop and see what they say before I take it down there.
