Default LS6 intake flow

I remember seeing one time some flow numbers on the LS6 intake. Does anyone remember off hand what they are?

That sounds about right. So, that being said, what does it matter having heads that flow 300 CFM on the intake side if the intake manifold will not even flow that much. Seems to me, in theory, when when intake air leaves the manifold and enters an intake runner that flows 300 CFM you have a pressure and velosity drop. Maybe I'm way off base. It just seems to me that so much emphasis has been put on flow numbers. I know now there are several new manifolds out now that can flow that much. But, I don't think to many people are ready to spend that kind of money yet.

you can get more flow through the intakes than 270cfm. here are some numbers jay posted a couple of months ago:

400-247

the higher flowing heads are able to pull more through the intake than a head that only flows 280cfm. that's why people are caught up with flow numbers.
