Yes in a sense. Unfortunately we do not know customers driving styles so just have to assume everyone bumps the red line like meself of 80% of shifts lol. This is where proper valve spring installation becomes crucial. Unstable spring tend to destroy themselves or just loose pressure pre maturely.

Those are the springs the member who had the cam before me ran without any problems, and I called EPS earlier he said to run pac dual's, patriot dual's, or pac 1518/1519's with this cam. He would rather me run the dual's more than anything.

A lot of people are affraid of beehive springs. You lose that safety margin. Well yeas and no. You break an outer under high RPM the valve is toast still.

Yea I kno that cam is bigger I was soon a lil thread hijack lol...

I would def run dual springs in a stick car bc it's so easy to over rev, but in an auto car wit cam under 600 lift the beehives are fine

Ended up going with pac dual's from EPS.
