Default Ls1 Crankshaft question

I have a 6.0L and 5.3L crankshafts. What needs to be done for them to be used in 5.7L? Also which one would be better to modify to work in 5.7L? Do they only need to be balanced to 5.7 pistons and rods? I,m asking cause can,t find any specs differences between them just part #,s are different. I assume the answer is simple. Thanks for the help.

You can use "any" crank with "any" set of rods in P"any" block (with the exception of the 4.8)...I would get the cranks and rods balanced as an assembly and you will be good to go...just make sure you don't have an "early" 6.0 crank bc it has a longer crank flange and sucks to deal with.

You can't use the 4.8L or the 7.0L crank but the 5.3L , 5.7L , 6.0L and 6.2L all share the same 3.622" stroke and are balanced accordingly . If You get the crank and rods balanced You should also have the pistons installed on the rods prior to balancing so they get balanced correctly .
