Bearing Location?

Who can tell me where this bearing goes? I am rebuilding my LS1 from an 02 Z28 when I was putting the oil pump and double roller kit from SLP I found this laying on my workbench. Problem is the tech manual does not call for it neither did the instructions that came with the kit.

That's the torrington bearing that goes behind the cam gear. Stock timing sets don't use one, but aftermarket sets do.

Not sure if I agree there. Hard to tell without something to gauge its size by. It almost looks like a crushable drain plug washer to me. How big is it? can you take a picture with a quarter next to it?

If it "feels" like a small lazy susan then KCS got it right...
