Default head studs

i have a 2001 6.0 lq4. i am looking to purchase some head studs. wondering how different length studs i have on this engine. these are the ones im looking at.

Sorry but those studs are crap for $70 a set. Go with ARP studs. I know they are pricey but if that's a concern then do ARP bolts instead. To your original question, you should have the older set (3 total lengths per set) with the 2001 block. My original 2001 LS1 had the old style and my current 2004 LS6 has the older style, though most will read that 03 was the change-over year....that is not entirely correct.

I used those same studs for a year before biting the bullet and buying a set of arp. I had no problems with them. they torqued down beautifully and when I did the re-torque they didnt budge (no stretch) they are made by pro comp. id run them again.

I have the ARP 234-4110 studs in stock - $265 shipped right now. They are the correct ones for your early block.

If you want strong, but want to save money, then just pick up some ARP head bolts. They are cheaper, re-useable, and easier to torque.

Sorry, I should have mentioned they are easier, compared to the stockers. They arent torque to yield like the stockers, so all you need is a torque wrench.
