remove cruise control module?

Default remove cruise control module?

anybody remove the cruise control module on 2000 camaro and just run one cable from the pedal to the throttle body? if so where can i get the cable?

yes you can, just replace it with a stock 2000 throttle cable w/o TCS or cruise control

Yep, get you a non-cruise throttle cable. I just finally threw my cruise unit away today. I'm never putting that crap back on my car, never used it anyway.

I was changing out my front sway bar while doing my clutch tonight, and seen that box if you take it out will that also kill the trac control??? I dont use my cruise and is it hard to do at all? Any and all help would be great thanks guys

It's not that hard, IIRC there is a right up somewhere on here than gives a pretty good description of how to remove it.

The traction control is mounted up by the passenger strut and battery, the box by the sway bar is cruise only.
