Whats the best way to rebild my ls1 and make 500 hp off my motor. What can I do. I need to rebild my motor ASAP!! Thanks

 

buy a junkyard 6.0 and go from there would be a good way to start.

 

How much does your car weigh, any mods done yet, suspension upgrades, auto or manual, and what do you want to do with it? Street car, street/strip, strip only?

 

About 3500 it's all stock my motor has like 160xxx on it and I don't feel the same power it's a 6 speed

 

I want it to be a dayly driver with alot of power. All motor

 

Do the lq4/9 swap with a nice head/cam combo

 

Budget?

 

I'd recommend going back to finish middle school first.

 

500FWHP on an Lq4/9 isn't too hard, 500WHP n/a for a DD is a bit harder.

500WHP from an ls1 is harder still. Not impossible mind you.. none of this is.. but know tht the higher "horsepower" rating you get, the meaner your cam needs to be, and the less friendly the cars gonna be on the road.

if your "daily driver" is.. you'er the only car on the road.. its no problem to drive with an aggressive cam. But if your "daily driving" is 30 miles takes 2 hours ( like mine..) then you probably want something tamer, as such, boost is a way to have your cake and eat it too.. even tho you said you were against that.
