OK im going to be ptting in a lt1 and t56 in to my 69 chevelle and i want to know what is the best year motor and what are the diff. between the years. Also i thought the last year of the lt1 was 97 but in a lot of my parts books they say the last year was 96 lik ewhat the hell could some one please help.

 

96-97's are the best years. the IIRC the 95+ come with the vented opti, dual cats, and a few other little things i think.
