Default Which cam should I get

Hello all I have a stock m6 01 Ss and I'm looking to do cam. Was looking at the ms4 and the 228r from tsp already ordered 1 7/8 long tubes with 3 inch ory and magna flow catback also have spray 100-125 shot with tune what would be the best cam for me? Also I want something noticeable in sound as well. Thanks for you'r help and I want to be able to daily drive if needed

DD and any MS cam don't belong in the same sentence, 228 over it all day

Made up my mind talked to the guys over at LG motorsports and im going with the G5X3 to retain daily driveability and power along with the nice idle

I had the g5x3 and it was a great cam. I could of daily drove it if i wanted. It made great power and pulled hard. you will love it.

i can still use my stock lifters with the g5x3 too right? really dont want to pull the heads to swap the lifters lol

Yes,i did and stock rockers too. You should need new pushrods..I had the x1 cam,x2,x3 and x4 cam from LG. The x3 was the best in my o.p. the x4 only netted me 5hp more and i went no faster at the track. You made a good choice.

Stock lifters will be fine. Driveability is mostly in the tune. I know plenty that DD MS3/4 cars and tuned by our local guy and they have good street manners.

Went with tsp228 after reseArching for two months. One of my biggest factors was being a 193k mile engine, I didn't want to spin rpms 7000+ and still have good street manners for a relaxing cruise!

Called lg again they said go with 7.400 if motor is stock and heads havent been milled
