The tube should be literally directly behind the TB, it's just a black hose sitting there, not too hard to miss.
Depends on how radical of a cam that you can tolerate for a daily driver, honestly, just take a few minutes and run a good search on here. There are TONS of threads that have good information regarding the different types of cams that you can get into.

I doubt someone went through the trouble of replacing Ls1 pistons with ls6 ones (although the ls6 pistons are made of better quality) it might have an ls6 block, but it still wouldn't have had ls6 pistons...it is not impossible that he swapped them but like I said...quite unlikely...ls6 intake is the way to go for sure though...it dominates the ls1 by far I could tell the difference when I swapped
I remember when my buddy bought a Lincoln, it had Mustang Cobra emblems on the fenders and under the hood. The salesman told him it was a "Special Edition" lincoln. lol
Don't believe what people tell you so much as checking for yourself, even more so when they are trying to sell you something. Someone taking an LS1 apart to install LS6 pistons????? highly unlikely but possible. More so it would be an LS6.
