If you use pushrods specified by the gauge length, then you would need 7.3125 + 0.050 = 7.3625 since you used the Comp Cams length checking tool, which gives you a gauge length measurement.

If you use pushrods specified by the flat-to-flat lenght, then you would need pushrods that were 7.3775 from flat-to-flat as you showed above.
Just to clarify because the OP seems confused on the measurements, the two pushrods described by ZeeOSix are actually the same length, just the method of specifying the length is different.

Haha yes I was a little confused. But I plan on getting some mantons, so if I tell him I need 7.375" then I should be ok right?

Yes, that's true. Thanks for adding that vettenuts.

Yes ... if you buy Manton pushrods you will want 7.375" overall length (ie, flat-to-flat). If you look at the Manton on-line catalog on page 6 it says:

4. Ball/Ball designs are to be ordered by overall length
measurement. (The standard flat diameter on the ends of the
pushrods is 0.100")

I bought a set of Mantons for my LS6 last summer. They are nice pushrods for the money. Which ones did you get?

I went with the 11/32" .120 wall, 7.375" of course.

Curious if you spoke with Terry. When I called he returned my call from his car and was very helpful (while driving). He made me one pushrod with a removable end so I could alter the length while I was setting up the motor.

I only saw one mention of Shane @ TRs method in this thread. I have used it a bunch of times and have come up with silent valve-trains each time. I guess that's the method OP started out using at first.

No I guess I just talked to a sales lady, which she was pretty helpful. She asked what motor these were going into and I told her an LS3 then she asked "ok then you'll want the 5/16" ball end on these right?" Kinda threw me off cause I didn't know there was different tip sizes haha.

Yes I started with Shane's method first, then went ahead and used an adjustable pushrod to get measurement with that also.
