After my recent fiasco with Thunder Racing, I'd go elsewhere.

I ordered a cam package at the end of November I was told to expect the merchandise in 2 weeks... Payment in full was drawn from my account on 12/2/11. Only after raising 3 layers of hell over the phone with Angie herself did I received my merchandise on 2/10/12. That is over 2 months when I was told 2 weeks. Facebook posts have been deleted where I and other customers have been asking for someone down there to address our questions/concerns regarding prolonged order shipment times. One gentleman was still waiting for an order from September. If you look at their fb page, notice the last update comment is from December 7. A play by play can be seen at http://www.performancetrucks.net/for...racing-477696/

Anyone familiar with some of Thunder Racing's older stuff?
I'm told that I have a 224/224-116 in my block... but I can't find anything that matches it on their current site.
Not really interested in removing my water pump housing and chain to get to it LOL.

my stock cam car went 1.60 on a bent tq arm and a 3650lb raceweight. the cam profile doesn't have a lot to do with 60'...don't want to mislead.

to the OP: that's a proven cam. i'd probably opt for a 224/230 on a 110+0 if i was looking at baby cams.

I agree. Geoff at EPS is a former owner of thunder racing. He speced out a custom grind for me 226/230 .598/.608 113 lsa with my ported 243s flowed 307cfm @.600 lift(+65cfm over stock) full bolt ons I am estimating around 430rwhp. I am very happy with the cam. It drives and idles really nice, it makes nice flat power, pulls really hard all the way to the 6600rpm rev limiter. U will prob want to upgrade valvesprings if u go with a bigger cam. A set of "yellow" Z06 243 springs will save you a lil money and they are good to .600lift..? I have a set I'll give you a good price on if your interested
