Dry Sump Oil System on LS1

I was watching an Ultimate Factories episode about the Corvette Z06 the other day and i saw that the LS7 engine features a dry sump oil system,i was wondering if that can be done to the LS1 engine?

I'd like to know more about this too. I don't see why with dome work it couldn't be retro fitted

Its been done. There are also systems designed for 4th Gens specifically, unless I am wildly mistaken.

I would LOVE to build a dry dyno for mine...if nothing else just to let me drop my engine down a few more inches.....I hate the thought of that big aluminum own hanging down just asking for a road impact
