Supercharged 5.3 rebuild Hey guys, I've posted a few questions on here before concerning my very long drawn out rebuild of my 04 GMC Sierra. I'm rebuilding my engine pretty much from the block up due to burning a piston out. I recently had my heads redone and upgraded by a local shop with about $1100 worth of work and next im ordering pistons and rods so that i can have my block bored due to minor scaring. The only thing i have completed are the heads and my magna charger which is going back on. My question is if anyone would happen to have a kind of rebuild cheat sheet for parts i'll need. I'm trying to buy parts either 1 at a time or several depending on the budget for the month and stock pile them until i have everything then turn it all over to the local shop to be built. im looking for information like gasket kits or sets i'll need, bearings? main, rod or cam..? timing chain stuff like that. any help would be greatly appreciated.
