Could have had one fail a while back and not notice? Only reason I was thinking I failed one was a slightly noisier valve train,,,,, then the WTF is on my drain plug??? Car still ran perfect.

maybe use a strong welding magnet and swipe any metal stuff towards the drain plug.then use a pen magnet to draw out the stuff the oil drain hole.get some new comp cam trunnion bearings.
