Default Ok. Need help.

So the machine shop milled my 243 heads .007. Now with a felpro gasket and ms4, valves Will hit the piston. I'm pissed. Should I just buy pistons with reliefs, thicker gasket, or try to fly cut? Don't want to do the latter. Block has 130k on it. Anyone has a low mileage built block? Any advise would be appreciated. Not changing the cam.

so how thick is the felpro gasket?
can you go thicker?
no flycutting the pistons?

I think you can order a cometic head gasket thicker
than 0.051

others may have better opinions than me

If the valves are hitting now, then you need to gain about .100. You can't get that with a different gasket. You only have two choices, since you don't want to change the cam. Get the stock pistons flycut, or different pistons that are already cut.

If it didn't hit before and they only took off .007 and that made it hit, be thankful you didn't run it because it would have hit and you would have been out a lot more money. You need at least .060 on the intake and .100 on the exhaust.
