Default Knock Sensor and Harness question

I have had the engine redone for my 2000 LS1, the knock sensors only have one single plug that goes strait down the center, ( strait spade shaped piece of steel) I look up ones to buy and they show and electronic clip type connection. is there another harness i need also that was updated i need to buy, or what. what got me into this is during reinstall i broke one of the spades. I don't particularly want to weld/solder it.

the engine had 155K on it and they were never replaced to my Knowledge, It seems as it would be a good idea to go ahead and replace them since everything is apart anyway, but then i will also need the harness,

Do they need replaced, and where is the best price on these parts? I am always leary of my local NAPA or Advance as their parts are sometimes good and sometimes go bad faster than i can install them.

Thanks.

the 98 had a different style connector......the KS get submerged in water and rust.........the harness ends also rust......IMO GM KS are better.....and a new harness are a good preventive maintenance measure
