I will be doing a head and cam swap and bought a Melling 10296. What spring should I use? Also it came with two orings.

I ran the high pressure spring in my forged bottom end stroker and hold 50-55psi warm idle, and 75-80psi at high rpms....

Since you have a stock bottom end you would probably went to run the lighter spring. Use the "o" ring that matches the old one in your engine

Honestly I can't remember, I had all the paperwork from the machine shop, but couldn't begin to guess where it might be. I took the shortblock to the machine sho and had him bore it over to 4.030", hone, turn the crank 10/10, new piston and rings , replace a rod, align bore, balance, setup and assemble with new cam, crank and rod bearings. I ported the heads, then had him milled them down to 57cc, and valve job....then I put the cam in and degreed it and bolted everything back together.

The biggest thing is finding a machine shop that knows these motors because they are not like the old sbc.....and yes he has a torque plate
