Passenger bank rich??
2000 TA with SLP headers and loudmouth exhaust (with cats), Thunderracing 224 cam (I think), #30 Ford injectors, higher ratio rockers, Thunderracing tune. AIR/EGR delete, other misc bolt-ons.
My problem is with the passenger side cat actually. This is the second time I have had the exhaust off and both times the material in the cat is gone on the passenger side. Drivers side is original and still intact. I have had intermittent misfires on the passenger bank throughout the last 9 years and check engine lights with a O2 sensor code...and twice now the cat is hollowed out with no honeycomb material left inside. I figured the first time it was just something I banged real good while driving as the SLP's sit low and the car is lowered, but now I think it is a rich condition or something going on with that side.
Any thoughts on what to check or where to go from here?? I will be pulling plugs to check how they look in the next couple days..
I have the factory fuel rail.
Who tuned your PCM for the 30# injectors?
Headers leak?
