Been a while since I have been here but find myself changing the clutch again so I thought I would address another issue I have had for most of the cars life...
2000 TA with SLP headers and loudmouth exhaust (with cats), Thunderracing 224 cam (I think), #30 Ford injectors, higher ratio rockers, Thunderracing tune. AIR/EGR delete, other misc bolt-ons.

My problem is with the passenger side cat actually. This is the second time I have had the exhaust off and both times the material in the cat is gone on the passenger side. Drivers side is original and still intact. I have had intermittent misfires on the passenger bank throughout the last 9 years and check engine lights with a O2 sensor code...and twice now the cat is hollowed out with no honeycomb material left inside. I figured the first time it was just something I banged real good while driving as the SLP's sit low and the car is lowered, but now I think it is a rich condition or something going on with that side.

Any thoughts on what to check or where to go from here?? I will be pulling plugs to check how they look in the next couple days..

I have the factory fuel rail.

Scan your Long Term Fuel Trim data for both banks at idle, a few minutes of normal driving including acceleration and running through the gears at part throttle, and a few WOT blasts. Post here in Excel or comma-separated text.

Who tuned your PCM for the 30# injectors?

"and twice now the cat is hollowed out with no honeycomb material left inside".. If the material is gone, is it stuck in the pipe down stream? If so, you could well have hi egts due to the lack of flow.
Headers leak?

Thanks for the responses! I have the stock fuel rails with an electronic fuel pressure sensor at the shrader valve and the racetronics fuel pump setup in the tank. I have about ~61lbs pressure give or take. I have an old version of A logging program that I don't remember the name of and the company does not support anymore so when I got a new computer I lost the pw and cannot access it but will have another go at it during this install. I would think if I have a header leak at the heads I would hear it but there may be a leak toward the collector but I see no blackened areas ... Thunder racing did the tune but it was a mail-in based on my setup
Hope I can get the software running!!
