Lid question

I'm going to order a lid today and i had a question about filters. I've heard that the 50 bucks for a K&N isn't worth it and I should probably just buy a new paper filter and be done. Any thoughts or opinions would be helpful.

From: 20 minutes from the Valley...

K&N if over oiled will contaminate the MAF and cause more issues, personally don't think its worth the $...but this should be in EXTERNAL SECTION
