Default Ordering Heads Tomorrow! Need Help

Hey guys, I'm ordering some TEA heads tomorrow milled .030 and need to know exactly what else I'm gonna need for the install. I know gaskets, but which ones should i get? My car is also a 98 and I heard that I will need different valve covers from a 99+ car? Anything else?

Thanks
Neil

Ask TEA about a set of harden pushrods. I think ~7.35 will probably be what TEA suggests with the heads milled .030 & aftermarket cam.

Please keep us posted and let us know how the car turns out.

TEA heads, 02 MLS gaskets, head bolts, hardened pushrods, 99+up coil brackets and valve covers.

This wont answer your question, and it looks like cammin already did.
But I have a question for you.
What heads are you buying? If you are buying the 5.7 LS1 heads then a smart move would be to get the 5.3's instead. You will get similar compression without having to mill the heads. Therefore if you ever want to add a bigger cam you would have to buy different heads or flycut your pistons. It really make a ton of since when you think about it. The gains are all the same but without any of the negatives.
Ask around and I am sure many have the same oponion.
Good luck.
