Is there a differance between a ls2 timing set and a ls7 ? I only ask because i am tearing into this motor and finding these part ? I think they order it because its a ls2 poked out to 427 ? I am not even sure if there is a differance?

The timing chains and camshaft sprockets are the same. The crankshaft timing sprockets differ. The LS2 uses crankshaft timing sprocket part number 12556582. LS7 uses crankshaft timing sprocket part number 12581278.
