Dumb Down method to measure for Pushrods?
Dumb Down method to measure for Pushrods? Seems to be quite a few threads out there, but I'm confused with this 1/4 turn passed this and that etc..How do you really measure for pushrods?
On TV I saw them just simply torque the rocker down, turn it over a few times and checked for a center pattern on the valve stem. Is it not that easy?

As every pushrod length thread will elude to, the best way to check for proper length is with a pushrod length measuring tool.
The next best method is to use the "turns from zero lash to 22 ft-lbs". There are many threads on that method.
This is one of the better threads that explains a lot of details on that method.

Heads and cam swap. The heads were milled .020 but I'm running stock MLS gasket.
