What injectors are you running with the g5x2 cam (ported or stock heads)??

Ford 30# SVO's <-- This was recommended by Lou when they did the install.
Ported Ls6 Heads

i have AS 5.3 stage 2 heads, vararam intake full bolt ons and the g5x2. Should I upgrade my 28 lbs injectors?

A ford injector is really 36# at 58 psi of fuel pressre

Big heads and cam are at the breaking point of stock injectors. I'm sure the duty cycle is getting pretty high. Personally, I would go with the SVO 30lb'ers.(act like 36lb'ers on our fuel pressure)

I upgraded to SVO 30#...if you have a 99 or 00 car, I would definitely upgrade

i just snagged a set of new 30# injectors off ebay buy it now for $200, i'm a happy camper

This is the first I heard of needing an injector upgrade with the G5X-2. I am in the market for heads now. Will I have to start looking for 30#ers as well???

I used the stock injectors. I see no reason to add new ones.

If you get just the cam, don't upgrade the injectors. With Stage 2 heads, I would highly suggest it.

you can pick up injectors on ebay, i saw a few auctions for them fairly cheap. Mine i did buy it now and got them for $200 new.

i'm running 42lb FMS injectors... but I'm running a bit more than just that cam hehe
